Bio

For the past year, Jane was playing the Tour Guide and covering the role of Margaret in the 1st National Tour of The Light in The Piazza . Last year, she was fortunate enough to work on The Producer’s movie directed by Susan Stroman and Law & Order SVU. She is also involved in the pre-Broadway workshop of the musical adaptation of A Tale of Two Cities.

For six years Jane has performed in A Christmas Carol at Madison Sq. Garden, starring: Jim Dale, F. Murry Abraham, Tim Curry, Frank Langella, Tony Roberts and Roger Daltry. Last year, she played Nettie Fowler in Carousel and prior to that, was on the road with the National Tour of The Sound of Music playing Sister Berthe. Regionally, Jane’s credits include: Marion in The Music Man, Maria in Lend Me A Tenor, Rose in God’s Favorite, Mrs. Upson in Mame, and Mrs. Mullin in Carousel. Other performances include Evita at ThePapermill Playhouse and Starcrossed at the Goodspeed Opera House. Favorite roles include: Anna in The King and I, Babe in Pajama Game, Lizzie in 110 In The Shade, The Baroness in The Sound of Music and Fiona in Brigadoon. She has also been seen on All My Children and in various commercials.

Jane has a B.M. degree in Voice from Penn State and a M.A. degree in Opera/Music Theatre from Southern Illinois University. She teaches Voice privately and travels all over the country leading workshops in audition technique and working as an actor in New York.
