“Hey Diddle Diddle,” a dramatic film about self-assurance, has a relatable theme that examines the constant battle of overcoming one’s own inadequacies. The story follows a former Homecoming King/Mr. Popular who has squandered all of his talents and promise and is now living as a s**** of his former self. The man who once had the world in the palm of his hand, now living as an unemployed slob, receives an invite to commune with the very people who once adored him. As his decision of whether or not to revisit his glory days unfolds, self-doubt, and the pressures of not living up to expectations will be depicted in a way that has never been seen before. The situations and obstacles he will have to face, including the social disorder he’s been battling all of his life, will either make him a stronger person or paralyse any opportunities he might have to live a blessed life. Mr. Popular with Social Anxiety Disorder? How does that happen?
