Dianne: Female / 25-30 Years. / Any Ethnicity. Donald’s lawyer, she is a very professional woman in her late 20’s/Early 30’s. She seems refined as though her every thought and action is well planned out. She is slowly becoming unnerved by Donald’s increasingly bizarre behavior.

Lucia: Female / 18-24 Years. / Any Ethnicity. Donald’s Maid/Cook, she is streetwise but somewhat naive.

STORY LINE: The Suffering is a Gothic Horror Film. It deals with revenge, family guilt, and mental breakdown. The film concerns a young man named Robert who visits a friend of his (Donald) in the country. Upon his arrival, Robert learns of Donald’s family curse, which might be powerful enough to destroy them both.

Cat crushes her charcoal pastels, makes a slurry, forces her to drink the antidote, and revives her. Cleopatra awakens and accuses Cat of robbing her of her one chance at artistic fame…
